Christmas email subject lines for small shops (2026)
Subject lines you can copy for the December emails that matter most: gift guides, order-by dates, last-minute gifts and Christmas Eve hours. Swap the details in braces for your own.
How to use this list
A good Christmas subject line says what is inside, uses a real date or detail, and sounds like a person wrote it. Pair each one with preview text that adds a second fact, instead of repeating the subject. Christmas Day falls on Friday, December 25, 2026, so check your own carrier’s cutoff dates before you publish any deadline.

Tips for writing your own
- Use a real date. “Order by December 14” is clearer than “ordering soon.”
- Be honest about urgency. Only say “last chance” when it is. Readers learn fast.
- Keep it short. A subject that fits on a phone screen is easier to read at a glance.
- Test sparingly. If your platform offers a subject line test, try two honest versions rather than gimmicks.
- Mind special characters. Emoji and symbols may display differently across apps. If you use one, preview it first.
